Bantwal: Car overturns after colliding with an electric pole

Bantwal, October 11, 2024: A man sustained minor injuries after his car collided with an electric pole and then crashed into a parked motorcycle on BC Road on October 10.

The driver, identified as Rakshit, a Siddakatte resident, was returning home from the Kudroli Temple in Mangaluru when he lost control of his vehicle.

Both the car and the motorcycle suffered significant damage. Rakshit is currently receiving treatment at Bantwal Government Hospital.

The motorcycle belonged to a person from Chikamagalur, whose details have not yet been released. He had briefly parked his bike by the roadside after returning from Mangaluru. Witnesses noted that if he had been on the motorcycle during the accident, it could have resulted in serious injury.
