Bantwal: Driver dies as stone laden lorry falls into gorge

Bantwal, May 03, 2018:  The driver of a stone laden lorry lost his life after the vehicle fell into a gorge at Kalpane near Pachinadka of Bantwal taluk on Wednesday night. The cleaner of the lorry has sustained injuries in the mishap.

It is learnt that the driver lost control over the vehicle resulting in the mishap. The deceased has been identified as Ashraf (35) of Tanneerpantha. The injured cleaner Abdul Karim (40) of Kudradka has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.
The lorry was on way to BC Road when the accident took place.

 Bantwal Police have registered a case.
