Bantwal: Gang attack on two youth

Bantwal, October 24, 2024: Two youth were brutally attacked with lethal weapons by a gang at Ammemar in Pudu village on Tuesday night. A previous enmity is suspected to be the cause of the attack.

The injured namely Tasleem and Mohammad Shakir have been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru and are receiving treatment in the ICU.

The accused have been identified as Palti Imran, Mansoor, Mustaq alias Micha Sharfuddin, Ashraf, Rizwan, Safwan, Adnan, Nisaq, Yasir, Suhail, Sadiq, Latif and Jahid.

It is learnt the accused made a call to Tasleem and asked him to come near Ammemar school. When the latter went there along with Shakir, both were attacked. The accused later fled the place.

Bantwal Rural Police are investigating the case.
