Bantwal: Gunny bag godown gutted in fire mishap

Bantwal, February 11, 2025: A fire erupted in a godown of gunny bags at Badakabail in Bantwal taluk on Monday night resulting in much loss.

The godown owned by Mohammad, a local resident was completely gutted. The fire even spread to nearby two houses, but no one was injured. Locals and fire service personnel had a tough time in putting out the fire.

An electric short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
