Bantwal: Half acre rubber plantation gutted in fire mishap

Bantwal, February 3, 2025: A short circuit in an electrical transformer resulted in a massive fire that destroyed half an acre of trees in a rubber plantation at Munchikadu of Sarapady village in Bantwal taluk.

The fire mishap took place in the rubber plantation of Albuquerque Estate. Fire tender vehicles from Bantwal rushed to the spot to doused the flames.
