Bantwal: House suffers damage due to lightning strike

Bantwal, November 6, 2024: Lightning strike on Tuesday night has caused damage to a house at Manjalpade in Sajipamuda village. All electrical equipment in the house have been destroyed due to the lightning strike.

The mishap took place at around 8 pm and struck the main switch board and wiring of the house causing  damage worth several lakhs.

A couple and their four children were at the house when lightning struck. Luckily none of them were hurt.
