Bantwal: Lorry jumps divider after driver suffers from seizure

Bantwal, February 12, 2025: A lorry jumped a divider and came to an abrupt halt nearly 100 meters away near Thumbay on the NH 75 on Wednesday morning. It is learnt, the driver of the lorry suffered a seizure resulting in the mishap.

Locals immediately rushed the driver who was found lying on the seat of the lorry, to the hospital.

The mishap took place at around 7.45 am. A road sign board was damaged in the mishap.
