Bantwal: Man arrested for communally offensive FB post

Bantwal, December 9, 2024: A man from Arala village in Bantwal taluk has been arrested by the police for trying to flare up communal feelings through an offensive Facebook post.

The arrested man is Jaya Poojary. Police had registered a suo moto case against him for making offensive posts against women and religion. He has been produced before the court and remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.
