Bantwal: Mobile shop owner attacked with machete

Bantwal, April 17, 2025: A mobile shop owner was attacked with a machete by a person while the former was closing his shop at Nehru Nagar here late in the night on Wednesday.

The injured shop owner Tasleem has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru where he is undergoing treatment in the ICU.

A financial dispute is suspected to be the cause of the attack. It is learnt, Tasleem’s friend Harris  was the accused.

Bantwal police are investigating the case.
