Bantwal : Youth who jumped into Netravathi river rescued

Bantwal, Oct 19, 2020:    A young man  who jumped into the Netravathi river from the old building  near Goodinabali in Panemangalore on October 19, Monday morning was rescued by Mohammad and his team  of Goodinabali.

 

The  youth  was later admitted to a hospital in Bantwal. He has been identified as Kumar of Hassan. He is a driver in a private bus operating between Mangaluru and Bengaluru. He had jumped into the river  at around 8. 15 am. The reason behind his suicide attempt is not known.

Muhammad was assisted by Shihab and Staly in   the rescue effort which was possible with the help of the Seva Rakshak boat donated by Sevanjali Prathishtana.
