Beary Language Day celebrated

Mangaluru, Oct 3, 2020: Beary Language Day was celebrated at the Ocean Pearl Hotel Auditorium on October 3, Saturday under the aegis of DK District unit of Akhila Bharatha Beary Parishat. J Hussain who inaugurated the programme  said there was a big movement a decade ago for the cause of Beary language and literature.

Mangaluru Smart City Ltd Managing Director  Muhammad Nazeer released a  land document  registered in Beary language. In his address, he said there was a need for more concerted efforts to promote Beary language and literature.

Basheer Baikampady, President of Beary Literary and Cultural Association,  civil services trainer Farzana, Corporator Abdul Latif Kandak, Kendra Beary Sahitya Parishat President DM Aslam were present as chief guests.

Yusuf, Vice President of Beary Parishat  was felicitated on the occasion.
