Mangalore, June 29, 2024: State President Pushpa Amarnath has appointed Mrs. Swaroop. N. Shetty as the State General Secretary of Karnataka Pradesh Mahila Congress on the instructions of All India Women’s Congress President Alka Lamba.

Under the leadership of All India Congress Committee President Mallikarjuna Kharge, Hon’ble Chief Minister and Legislature Party Leader Siddaramaiah and Hon’ble KPCC President and Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Under the guidance of Sivakumar and senior leaders of the party, this responsibility has been given to bring women into the mainstream of the country’s governance politically, socially, educationally and economically and for the organization and strengthening of the party, the order said.
