Belthangady Bishop Lawrence Mukkuzhy meets Pope Bendict XVI

April 9: The Syro Malabar bishops recently paid an Ad Limina visit to Pope Bendict XVI. Bishop Lawrence Mukkuzhy of Belthangady personally met the Pope recently.

He greeted the Pope with a shawl and a garland of cardamom, specially made in DK.

He also gave the Pope a work of art made of sandalwood.
