Belthangady: Couple end lives by hanging

Belthangady, September 20, 2024: A couple hailing from Urdugudde in Kashipatna village have committed suicide by hanging themselves in a forest near their house on Thursday.

The deceased are Nonayya Poojary (63) and Baby (46).  It is learnt the couple was issueless and Nonayya was suffering from health problems since five years.

Baby was the second wife of Nonayya. He had married Baby after his first wife died ten years ago. He has five sons and a daughter from his first wife.
