Belthangady: First PUC student ends life

Belthangady, July 4, 2024: A first PUC student from Puduvettu in Belthangady taluk has ended her life by consuming rat poison.

The deceased is Anitha (17), daughter of Venkatesh. The reason behind her extreme step is not known. Anitha, a first PUC science student of Vani PU College of Belthangady has also left behind a death note expressing regret for scoring less marks in SSLC.

She had consumed poison four days ago and was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru where she died on Wednesday.
