Belthangady: Panic as leopard kills 2 calves

Belthangady, Dec 05, 2023: Two calves which were tied in front of a house were reportedly devoured by a leopard at Mundur in Belthangady taluk on Sunday night creating panic among locals. The calves belonged to Guruvappa Salian.

 

It is learnt the leopard dragged the calves to the nearby plantation and has killed them.

About a month ago,  a leopard had attacked a calf in the area following which locals had informed the Forest Department.
