Belthangady: Rider dies as tree branch falls over bike

Belthangady, March 22, 2025: A young bike rider lost his life after the branch of a roadside tree fell over him while he was passing through the State Highway at Jarigebailu in Gerukatte on Thursday night.

The deceased is Praveen (25) of Belalu. He was employed in the loan section of a private bank in Mangaluru and was returning home after duty when tragedy struck.

Though he was immediately rushed to hospital by locals, he had passed away by then.
