Belthangady: Syro-Malabar Diocese celebrates silver jubilee

Belthangady, Feb 12, 2024: The silver jubilee celebrations of the Syro-Malabar Diocese of Belthangady were inaugurated by Archbishop of Syro-Malabar Church Raphael Thattil.

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari and Rajyasabha Member Dr D Veerendra Heggade was the chief guest of the occasion. In his address, Dr Heggade hailed the contributions of the Christian community towards various fields including education.

Karnataka Assembly Speaker U T Khader in his address also spoke about the service mindedness of the Syro-Malabar community and its contributions particularly in rural areas.
