Belthangady: Two men from Bagalakote arrested for vehicle theft

Belthangady, December 13, 2024: Punjalakatte police have arrested two men from Bagalakote district on the charges of stealing a pick-up vehicle parked outside an interlock factory at Malady.

Those arrested are Kanakappa Yamunapa Kyadageri (24) and Ramesh Chauhan (26). The vehicle was stolen on the night of December 2 when it was parked outside the factory owned by Terrence Joshel Veigas.

Police who investigated the case following a complaint, arrested the two accused from Bagalakote and recovered the stolen pick-up vehicle worth Rs 3 lakhs from them.
