Belthangady: Woman critically injured as speeding car hits her

Belthangady, Jan 13, 2024: A woman who was standing on the roadside sustained serious injuries after a car knocked her down near Aramalebetta of Guruvayanakere on January 13, Saturday afternoon.

The injured woman is Anjali Nayak, wife of former member of Belthangady Taluk Panchayat Gopinath Nayak.

Anjali was waiting to cross the road when the speeding car went out of control of the driver and hit her.

The injured woman has been hospitalized.
