Belthangady youth slips to death in Cauvery river

Belthangady, April 19, 2025: A youth from Navoor in Belthangady drowned after reportedly slipping into the Cauvery river in Bannur of T Narasipur in Mysuru on Friday.

The deceased is Mansoor (19). He worked in a poultry transportation vehicle. On April 17 he had stayed with a colleague at Bannur in T Narasipura. On April 18, he had washed the vehicle on the river bank and stepped into the water for bath when he reportedly drowned.

Bannur police visited the spot and are investigating.
