Bengaluru based bank employee drowns at Malpe beach

Udupi, January 28, 2024: A Bengaluru-based bank employee, Nitin (35), who was vacationing with friends, tragically went missing at Delta Beach in Kodibengar on Saturday after being swept away by the sea.

Nitin had arrived in Udupi on January 26 for a holiday with two friends and had chosen to explore Delta Beach. Unfortunately, while playing in the sea, he was carried away by the waves, and despite the police’s search efforts, he has not been located.

A case has been officially registered at Malpe police station in connection with this incident.
