Bharath Seva Dal celebrates Nehru Jayanthi, Children’s Day

Mangaluru, Nov 14, 2021: Bharath Seva Dal celebrated Children’s Day and the  birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru  near the statue of Nehru in front of the Corporation Bank Head Office in Mangaluru on November 14, Sunday.

Basheer Baikampady, District President of Seva Dal presided over the function. Former MLA J R Lobo was the chief guest. He recalled the contributions of Nehru towards the development of the nation and said the present generation must derive inspiration from his works.

Seva Dal Taluk President Prabhaker Shriyan, District Secretary T K Sudhir and others were present.

Students of Bengre Sand Pit School and Government School, Kapikad took part in the programme.
