Udupi, Sep 20, 2016: All the accused in the businessman Bhasker Shetty murder case were produced before the Additional Senior Civil Judges Court on September 19, Monday.

Meanwhile, the judicial custody period of the other accused namely Rajeshwari Shetty, the wife of Bhasker Shetty and Srinivas Bhat, father of Niranjan Bhat and his driver Raghavendra have been extended till October 3.
In another interesting development, the main accused Rajeshwari Shetty was earlier brought to Udupi from the Mangaluru sub-jail by a private bus. On Monday too she was brought in a police vehicle upto Padubidri and then taken to the court in a private bus. This was objected by her advocate Arun Bangera who claimed this was a case of human rights violation and that the accused should be brought to the court with due protection.
