Big Boss fame Shiyaz Karim arrested for cheating woman on pretext of marriage

Kasargod, Oct 05, 2023: Big Boss fame actor Shiyaz Karim (34) has been arrested by the Chandera police in Kasargod on the charges of harassing a woman after promising to marry her.

Shiyaz was arrested from the Chennai Airport as soon as he arrived from abroad. Earlier, a lookout notice was issued against him.

 

A 32 year old woman from Padanna in Kasargod had lodged a complaint against Shiyaz. It was alleged that Shiyaz who had befriended the woman who worked at a gym at Ernakulam had taken her to different places with the promise of marriage. The complainant has also alleged that Shiyaz has cheated her to the tune of around Rs 11 lakhs.

The complainant said he had taken her to Munnar resort and other places. She lodged a complaint after social media posts revealed that Shiyaz was engaged to another woman.
