Boat capsize at Uppunda: 1 dead, another missing

Kundapur, Aug 01, 2023: One person died and another is missing after a country boat which ventured into fishing capsized off the coast of Karkikali in Uppunda on July 31, Monday evening.

 

 

 

The boat owner Sachin Kharvi is missing while another person in the boat namely Nagesh Kharvi though was rescued and rushed to the hospital, succumbed later on.

Some others in the boat had managed to swim ashore safely.
