Buntara Sangha honours Kayyara Kinhanna Rai on his birth centenary

Kasargod, June 8, 2014: Veteran poet and Kannada activist Dr. Kayyara Kinhanna Rai was felicitated by the Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathru Sangha on the occasion of his birth centenary at his residence Kavitha Kuteera at Badiadka. Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi, President of the Sangha felicitated the centenarian poet.

Congratulating Kayyara a on being conferred the Pampa Award of the Karnataka Government, he said the Sangha has also requested the government to honour him with Karnataka Ratna Award.

Dr Ashajyothi Rai, Nitteguttu Raviraj Shetty, President of Mangalore Taluk Buntara Sangha,  Jayaram Santha. Sunder Shetty, Jagannath Shetty Bala, Journalist Ravindra Shetty and several other Bunt leaders were present.
