Bunts Sangha celebrates Ganesh Chaturti

Mangalore, September 14: Taluk Bunts Sangha Mangalore and Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathru Sangha Mangalore in association with Bantara Yane Nadavara Mathru Sanghas of DK, Udupi and Kasargod districts and the co-operation of various other social organizations celebrated Ganeshshotsava in a grand manner from 11th September to 13th September 2010 at Omkar Nagar, Bunts Hostel Grounds, Mangalore.

The Bunt community Ganesha at the Bunts Hostel in the centre of the city was perhaps the most colourful. The giant Ganapathy Idol has not only inspired the devotees but also filled the heart and mind with its sheer grandeur.

 

As a part of the Ganapathy festival the Bunts community has organised various entertainment programmes and painting competitions to the children. This time the theme was culture of India.

 

At the stage function, The sagha has felicitated many notable achievers in various fields like art, literature, social service, healthcare, education.
