Bus catches fire in front of Kateel temple; no one hurt

Mangaluru, May 17, 2023: A private bus belonging to OMPL company caught fire in front of Kateel Shri Durgaparameshwari temple on Wednesday, May 17.

 

 

 

 

The bus, which was operating on the Kateel route, had just dropped off employees working at Kateel and was on its way back when the incident occurred. The bus caught fire due to a short circuit at noon 2:45.

Luckily there were only the bus driver and two others were inside the bus, who jumped out of the bus and escaped unhurt.
