Byndoor: Two students drown while swimming

Byndoor, September 25, 2024: Two students who had entered a lake to swim, have drowned in Byndoor on Tuesday.

The deceased are Nagendra (13) and Shan Mohammad Shafan (13). The boys who had appeared for the exams in their school in the morning had been to the Kerekatte lake nearby after lunch. It is learnt both did not know to swim properly.

Their families who searched for the boys later lodged a police complaint. The bodies were found near the lake.

Byndoor police have registered a case.
