CCB cops arrest 3 for dacoity in businessman’s house

Mulki, September 20, 2024: CCB Police have on Thursday arrested three persons including two persons who were absconding abroad, in connection with the dacoity in the house of businessman AIkala Harish Shetty.

Those arrested are Husainabba alias Suhail (33), Zubair of Kolnadu and Kalam of Kasargod.

Police have seized fake passport, mobile phones, pistol, live bullets and a car from the accused.

The dacoity took place in 2023 and two of the accused had flown abroad using a fake passport which they had got ready with the help of Kasargod resident Kalam.

Meanwhile, Mulki police who gathered information that the accused had returned and were near Kolnadu, raided the police under the leadership of CCB ACP Manoj Kumar Nayak and arrested the accused.
