CCB cops arrest five drug peddlers; seize MDMA worth Rs 3.5 lakhs

Mangaluru, October 2, 2024: CCB Police have arrested five persons on the charges of smuggling and selling MDMA drug. The operation was held at Nettilapadavu in Konaje police station limits based on a tip off. Police seized 70 grams MDMA worth Rs 3.50 lakhs from the accused.

Those arrested are Abdul Shakir (24) of Shivamogga, Hasan Ashir (34) of Kunjattur, Riyaz AK (31) of Payyanur, Naushad (22) of Pavoor and Yasin Imran alias Imbu (35) of Kunjattur.

Police have also seized five mobile phones and a digital weighing machine from the accused.

 A case has been registered in Konaje police station.
