CCTV footage live-streaming helps arrest thief within 10 minutes of crime

Gangolli, June 22, 2024: A thief who had barged into the Panchaganga Vyavasaya Seva Sahakari Sangha Offce at Mullikatte in Gangolli was caught soon after, thanks to the live streaming of the CCTV camera footage which was under constant surveillance by a private company. The thief was caught within ten minutes of the theft.

The thief had made his way into the society building by breaking the window grill at around 1.47 am on Friday.

The security firm which was live monitoring the CCTV footage immediately alerted the police who rushed to the spot and arrested the accused in a matter of ten minutes.

It is learnt, the accused is a man of Kerala origin.
