CM arrives in Udupi to take part in Kaup Jana Sankalp Meet

Udupi, Nov 07, 2022: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has arrived in Udupi to take part in the Jana Sankalp Samavesh  a Kaup.  He was accorded a warm welcome by State Ministers Kota Srinivas Poojary, Sunil Kumar, S Angara and other party leaders.

 

Speaking  on the occasion, the  Chief Minister said the Jana Sankalpa Yatra aims at  reaching out to the masses and also to strengthen the party organisation. He said the Yatra which commences in Kaup will proceed to Gadag, Belagavi and Haveri. He said the Yatra was receiving overwhelming response.

The Chief Minister said Congress leader and former CM Siddaramaiah was under the illusion that his party would come to power.

He also accused the Congress of corruption and said corruption  in the state had begun during the  Congress rule. He said the new Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge was hurling accusations against the BJP government to cover up the follies of his own party.
