CPI(M) seeks early completion of Jeppu Mahakalipadpu railway underpass

Mangaluru, June 13, 2024: A delegation of the CPI(M) met the MCC Commissioner on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum urging for steps for the early completion of the Jeppu Mahakalipadpu railway underpass works.

The memorandum stated that the work has been proceeding at a snail’s pace since three years and this has greatly inconvenienced people of Ullal, Thokkottu, Bajal, Jeppinamogaru and surrounding areas.

The memorandum urged the Mangaluru City Corporation authorities to prevail upon the Railway Department to expedite the works.

The delegation included Sunil Kumar Bajal, Yogish Jeppinamogaru, Bharathi Bolar, Prameela Devadiga and others.
