Car rams into tree near Kulai : Woman dead, three others critical

Mangaluru, Feb 04, 2021:    A woman lost her life and three  others sustained serious injuries when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a  tree near Kulai on the outskirts of the city  at around midnight on Wednesday.

 

The deceased is Suhana (26), a resident of Bondel in Mangaluru. Suhana’s sister Fathima Shaureen, brothers Rahil Shameem and Razik Shahan  are seriously injured and are admitted to a private hospital.

The family was busy preparing to attend a wedding to be held at Chikkamagaluru on Thursday and was returning to  Krishnapura Chokkabettu after  taking food parcel when the mishap took place.

It is learnt Rahil who was driving the car veered the car  to the  side of the road in order to avert collision with another vehicle, when his car went out of control and rammed into the tree.

The car  was totally mangled due to the impact of the collision. Suhana who was critically injured breathed her last in the hospital.
