Carstreet college Hijab row : Khader seeks probe

Mangaluru, Mar 05, 2022: MLA and Opposition Deputy Leader in the state assembly U T Khader has urged the  Deputy Commissioner to conduct a high level probe into the Hijab controversy in the Government College at Carstreet.

 

 

 

He also demanded that  action must be taken against those responsible for victimising the female students.

Speaking to reporters on March 5, Saturday he questioned whether the district administration will remain silent spectator to such incidents.

On the controversy over medical course fees  that has sparked up over the issue of students going abroad for education, Khader said the issue needs to be discussed in the assembly to know the fees for merit and management seats during the Congress regime and under the present dispensation.
