Centre releases tax devolution of Rs 6,130 crore to Karnataka

New Delhi, January 11, 2025: The Union government on Friday released Rs 6,310.40 crore tax devolution amount to Karnataka.

The Union government has released a total tax devolution of Rs 1,73,030 crore to states as against the devolution of Rs 89,086 crore in December 2024.

A higher amount is being devolved this month to enable states to accelerate capital spending and finance their development and welfare-related expenditures, a statement from the Ministry of Finance said.
