Chain snatchers escape from Brahmavar; trapped in Ankola

Udupi, January 18, 2025: Five chain snatchers who were escaping after snatching chain near Brahmavar of Udupi, were arrested by the Ankola police.

The Ankola police personnel acted swiftly based on the information passed on by their counterparts in Brahmavar and arrested the accused at Baleguli where a checkpoint was set up.

The accused were travelling in a car bearing Maharashtra registration when they were trapped. They were subsequently handed over to Brahmavar police.
