Mangaluru, June 7, 2020: The City Centre Mall in Mangaluru which had remain shut for over two months due to lockdown will be re-opening on June 8, Monday subject to the guidelines of the government which has permitted malls and temples to reopen.
The management of City Centre Mall has taken all precautionary measures against Covid-19 as stipulated by the government. The management has initiated measures to follow social distancing and has placed floor stickers at entry points too. All visitors will be subject to thermal screening. All those entering the mall will have to wear masks and those without masks will be provided cloth masks at concessional rates.
The management will be using contactless hand sanitizers at all entry points . The mall management has also trained all staff on controlling of movement of visitors and maintaining personal hygiene. The mall has done fumigation all over, all customer touch points will be sanitized every hour. Waste bins have also been placed for people to dispose used tissues, gloves or masks if necessary. The entry of customers will be a controlled one in order to maintain social distancing norms. AC will be on at a temperature of 24-30 degrees as per government norms and those with body temperature above normal temperature will not be allowed to enter.
