City buses to operate from service bus stand from today

Mangaluru, Apr 01, 2023: From April 1 onwards, city buses will not be allowed to halt at the State Bank bus stand.  Instead all city buses would commence their journey from the nearby service bus stand itself.

 

From today, city buses will not be allowed to halt  from Hamilton Circle to Rao and Rao Circle. Similarly, private vehicles will not be allowed on the road in front of the City Police commissioner’s office upto the road adjacent to the service bus stand, according to DCP Dinesh Kumar (Crime and Traffic).

The service bus stand  improvement works were done recently and with a view to ensure smooth vehicular movement, city and service buses are allowed to operate from the same bus stand.
