Mangalore, Nov 20: The Collection Centre of UCB Stem Cells in Mangalore is fully equipped with all facilities and technical expertise said Dr. Ram Bhat, Director, StemCyte India in Mangalore on Saturday, November 20. He was addressing media persons in a press conference in the Press Club.
The umbilical cord blood (USB) is collected after the baby has been delivered and the umbilical cord has been clamped and cut. The collected unit will be transported to our processing, testing and storage facility in Ahamadabad, Gujarat state.
