Colourful Okuli Habba celebrated in Carstreet

Mangalore, January 23: ’Okuli’ or festival of colors was celebrated with full zest at Carstreet in Mangalore on Saturday as part of the final day of the six day annual festival of Sri Venkatramana Temple here.

Thousands of G.S.Bs joined by many non-G.S.B. friends  swarmed Car Street and the surrounding areas,  dancing on the streets and spraying coloured water on each other, as Lord Venkatramana and Goddess Padmavathi proceeded on the first journey of their wedded life.
