Congress Regional Minority Cell office bearers installed

Mangaluru, August 25, 2017: U. B. Saleem and N. S. Kareem took charge as the Chairpersons respectively of Coastl Zone and D.K. District unit of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Minority Cell.

Syed Ahmed, State President of KPCC inaugurated the installation ceremony which took place at DKCC office at Mallikatta in the city on Friday, 25th August 2017.

Addressing the gathering, Syed Ahmed congratulated the new office bearers and urged them to work at the grassroots. “It is sad to see that there are attempts in this region to drive a wedge between communities and break the communal harmony of the people. We don’t need leaders who want to set fire to the district,” he said, “Party workers should understand this reality and work by doing what is truly relevant for the people.”

Eminent Congress leaders like ministers B. Ramanath Rai, U. T. Khadar, state chief whip Ivan D’souza, former MUDA chairman Suresh Ballal, Ibrahim Kodinjal and other were present on the occasion.
