Cops arrest 5 for drugs peddling near Maravanthe; seize MDMA

Udupi, January 14, 2025: CEN police of Udupi have arrested five men on the charges of attempting to sell the banned MDMA drugs near Maravanthe beach.

Those arrested are Abrar Sheikh (22), Mohammad Ismail Farhan (25), Mohammad (26), Nauman (27) and Sajjad Mustaqim (21). Police seized 15.59 grams MDMA worth Rs 78,000, a car worth Rs 11,28,000 and five mobile phones from the accused.
