Cops book 7 persons for sheltering rowdy sheeter Akashbhavan Sharan

Mangaluru, Jan 11, 2024:  Police have registered cases against seven persons on charges of  providing shelter to notorious rowdy sheeter Akashbhavan Sharan alias Rohidas. It may be recalled here that Sharan who recently tried to mow down the cops with his vehicle, was eventually arrested by the cops by firing a gun shot at his leg. Presently, he is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

 

Police had been on the lookout for Sharan who has several cases against him and also a warrant as he is one of those convicted in the case of murder of Prof Ramakrishna, Administrative Officer of KVG Polytechnic Sullia.

Those who have been booked for sheltering him are Sheela of Kodikal, Sharath Bhandari of Udupi Santhekatte, his wife Mayuri, Dhananjaya and Chethan Bulla.
