Court grants bail to Rasheed Malbari in lawyer Harish Rai case

 Mangalore, Nov 29, 2013 :  The Second Additional District Court  has granted bail to dreaded criminal Rasheed Malbari  in a case of   conspiring to kill lawyer Harish Rai, even as the former was in the court.

  Rasheed Malbari said to be an aide of notorious underworld dons Dawood  Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel was arrested  at Chattanchal in Kasargod on March 29, 2009 along with his aides.

Though he was convicted in an illegal arms possession case in August this year and was sentenced to five years of imprisonment, Rasheed Malbari who was already in prison  had by then spent four and a half years in jail. An interim bail in October this year was also of no use as he remained in prison in connection with other cases.
