Court hands over 3 surrendered Naxals to custody of Kundapur cops

Kundapur, March 11, 2025: Three out of the six Naxals who surrendered before the authorities in Bengaluru were produced before the Kundapur court on Monday and entrusted to the custody of the Kundapur police.

The three surrendered Naxals namely Jayanna, Mundagaru Latha and Vanajakshi have 15 cases against them in Kundapur police sub-division limits.

The court has entrusted Jayanna and Latha to 14 days of custody while Vanajakshi has been entrusted to six days of police custody.

The investigation will be held under the leadership of Kundapur DySP H D Kulkarni.
