Cracks in old Netravathi Bridge at Panemangalore

Bantwal, Oct 09, 2023: A crack has been noticed in the old Netravathi Bridge at Panemangalore. The crack is near the fourth pillar of the bridge from the Panemangalore side. It is not clear as to whether it is just a crack on the road or in the bridge itself.

 

Earlier, when a crack was noticed in this British era bridge, the administration had banned movement of heavy vehicles. But later even heavy vehicles began plying on the bridge.
