DKCA Cup T 20 Commences at Nehru Maidan

The Dakshina Kannada Cricket Association (DKCA) Cup T 20 Cricket Tournament was inaugurated at Nehru Maidan on Thursday, Oct 8.

Deputy Commissioner Ponnuraj inaugurated the event. In his inaugural speech, he said: “Cricket has always attracted large crowds. Despite the fact that some do not like it, cricket has always been enjoyed by a vast majority.” SP Dr. A. S. Rao, who was also present, wished the participating teams all success.

After the inauguration, the inaugural match was played between Attackers Mangalore and City Cricketer.

Members of the DKCA; Dr. Srikanth Rai, the president of the DKCA; Arun Kumar Shetty, the secretary of the DKCA; and Rathan Kumar, the assistant Secretary, were also present during the inauguration.
